Community Guidelines
Effective October 3, 2026 · Version 2026-10-03-v2
Speak respectfully
No swearing or profanity, including censored spellings, abbreviations or symbols used to get around this rule. No insults, name-calling, belittling, personal attacks, aggressive taunting, bullying or malicious comments. Disagree with an idea or an item description respectfully; do not attack the person. This applies to messages as well as public content.
Keep material appropriate
No pornography, nudity, sexual solicitation, obscene images, extreme gore, shock content or links to such material. Farm-related photos must have a legitimate purpose and be suitable for a general audience. Do not post graphic cruelty or content that encourages harming people or animals. An administrator may remove unsuitable material even if it is not illegal.
No harassment or discrimination
Do not threaten, stalk, intimidate, repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop, or encourage others to target them. No discriminatory slurs, degrading stereotypes or hateful abuse based on identity or personal characteristics. Do not retaliate against a person for reporting a concern.
Be truthful and keep listings lawful
Use accurate photos and descriptions, a genuine location and a clear price or trade request. Disclose known defects and relevant animal health or registration information. Do not post scams, counterfeit or stolen goods, unlawful services, deceptive advertising or items you have no right to sell. Follow applicable animal welfare, transport, food, licensing and other rules for your transaction. Do not claim that the marketplace has inspected or approved your item unless that is expressly true.
Respect privacy and ownership
Do not post someone’s address, phone number, email, identifying documents or private conversations without proper permission. Do not use another person’s photos, artwork or business logo without authorization. Do not impersonate a person, farm, business or administrator.
Keep the community useful
Stay relevant to farming, rural goods, services or the purpose of your group. No repetitive spam, chain messages, unrelated promotions or deceptive links. Paid placement requires operator approval. Do not flood groups or inboxes, manipulate ratings, make fake accounts or submit knowingly false reports. Respectful, relevant feedback is welcome.
Handle disagreements responsibly
Try to resolve a transaction disagreement calmly and keep factual records. Report concerns through the listing or group reporting controls rather than organizing public attacks. Reporting does not guarantee a refund, recovery of money or an immediate ban. Stop engaging if the conversation becomes unsafe.
What happens when rules are broken
Depending on the seriousness, history and safety risk, an administrator may warn you, remove or close content, restrict features, suspend you temporarily or ban your account indefinitely. Serious threats, fraud, harassment, inappropriate material or repeated misconduct may lead to immediate action without a warning. A ban may be enforced using account and network restrictions. Do not return through another account or help someone evade a ban. Respectful criticism and legitimate legal complaints are not grounds for punishment merely because they are unwelcome.
